Job Description
As a HRIS Consultant (Human Resource), you will be the subject matter expert of Workday Core HCM, security administration, business process design, compensation setup, end user experience and reporting and analytics. This position focuses on data analysis and compilation and is accountable for the development and distribution of critical reports/dashboards to the organization.
- Coordinate with Information Technology and the user community to identify areas of improvement, recommend changes, and implement functional solutions for existing systems.
- Manage requests for process improvements, system enhancements, and the development and/or purchase of new software applications.
- Plan and monitor progress of all external partners working within Workday on initiatives/projects.
- Optimize HRIS processes, integrate new software, and perform diagnostic tests.
- Serve as a primary resource in relation to Workday setup and maintenance including efforts related to Workday implementation and training. Responsible for all Workday system administration responsibilities.
- Mentor and coach the team to develop expertise and drive process and configuration excellence.
- Develop project plans and monitor progress of HRIS initiatives.
- Update data and maintain data integrity in Workday.
- Help HR evaluate positions to determine appropriate job classification, title, and grade through reporting efforts.
- Effectively work with the team to prioritize work and establish a strong partnership with IT to ensure clear governance in how value is delivered to the end users with the goal of providing an amazing employee experience.
- Support the administration and setup of performance reviews.
- Identify risks or opportunities and recommend changes to processes which improve the delivery of HR services to the organization.
- Partner with leaders across the organization to develop and deliver HR related communications.
- Ensure data quality and integrity by ensuring a regular audit cadence in coordination with the People Analytics team.
- Develop, document, and maintain all current and new HRIS business process workflows for efficiency and compliance.
- Collaborate with the HR Operations team to provide support for HR technology matters.
- Manage staffing and maintain a best-in-class HRIS team.
- Work with COEs to translate business needs into projects, including prioritization, scheduling, and resource planning.
- Perform audits on HR processes and documents, including hiring, termination of service, and payroll administration, when required.
- Keep track of technological advancements and trends in the field of HRIS.
- Ensure the efficient recording and secure storage of HR metrics, including attendance and employee performance data.
Minimum Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience as an HR Consultant.
- Experience with HR-related project management.
- Excellent knowledge of human resources in general.
- Ability to create and implement business plans.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree in Human Resources, business administration, project management, or related field.
